Green Valley English School celebrated 79th Independence Day with great fervour within its premises.
The students as well as the teachers — basking in the spirit of patriotism– left no stone unturned to make this auspicious day a special and memorable one.
The celebration began with the unfurling of the tricolour by our beloved Chairman Dr. Rakesh Singh. Thereafter, Dr. Singh delivered a powerful speech in which he not only highlighted the priceless sacrifices of our freedom fighters but also the way India has been charting its course to become an economic powerhouse.
The children’s superb exhibitions on lezim and dumbell were astonishingly encouraging. They were a treat to watch.
Thereafter, a variety show presented by our talented students under the guidance of their mentors had been wonderful and in the process induced a charged ambience of patriotism in the Symphony Hall.
Students delivered speeches– both in hindi and english– and also rendered soulful patriotic numbers to mark the celebration. Furthermore, they also presented a couple of group dances with some amazing moves and mudras–an artistic exhibition redefined.
Even if the programme ended, our hearts still vibrate with enchantment
